Seanne Coates and Samantha Kaplan on the CNS-TV set. |
Last week, we visited Tawes Hall to tour UMTV and the CNS-TV set. The trip left a strong impression on me since I have a love for TV broadcasting. During the trip, I was able to work with the cameras as well as be a floor director. Being able to actually work in these positions gave me a better understanding of how things operate in a newsroom and made me more keen to possibly taking on this job. I was especially excited when I was told writing was incorporated in TV broadcasting. Is anyone else interested in TV broadcasting of any type? If so what specific job?

I am also interested in TV Broadcasting. In the future, I would love to be a reporter or correspondent for an entertainment show like Entertainment Tonight. Being given the opportunity to anchor at UMTV was an amazing, unforgettable experience for me. I now know how it feels to anchor in a newsroom and I love it. This experience has surely increased my desire and ambition to pursue a career in broadcasting in the near future.
I am into Broadcast Journalism. I would like to be a sportscaster for football specifically. I love public speaking and I love football. Go Cowboys!! And my dream is to be the next Pam Oliver.
I'm interested in a broadcast career too. At first all I cared about was being on TV, but then I was told that was not all there was to TV broadcasting. Over the summer, I have gotten the chance to work behind the scenes, on set and do an actual package for a broadcast. From these experiences I see my self definitely leaning towards the broadcast side of journalism in college and in my career.
Broadcasting would be an awesome place to end up! If I was to end up in broadcasting, I would like to announce games or be a sideline reporter.
